I dont understand how this is done...normally they only allow a spouse to be owner and there partner main policy holder?

I tried that mate but they fucked me off and everything then had to go in my name. Anyway, it ended up to only be £100 more in my name.

Does the owner of a car have to have insurance on the car??? e.g. my mum owns my corsa and i am a named driver under her. I am thinking of buying a new policy when it runs out for my name only so the only insurance policy for the corsa will be me. But will this be ok???

Or does my mum have to have an insurance policy simply cos shes the owner of the vehicle?
