my m8 got pulled by 2 diff coppers coz his plate fell off his bumper n he was on his way home to put it bk on and while he was driving home he put it on his dash fasing the windscreen

its not gatso proff, it takes a full pic of the cars (usually the rear)

some trucks have numberplates quite high up, about 3 foot id say

some rear ones are very high like 15 ft

there is a law saying it must be forward facing an clearly visable

SOME things have to be a certain hight - like fog lights etc

Suppose technically it is, as theres no laws on where the plate must be positioned im sure. Obviously it has to be on clear view, which it is.

Only problem is you couldnt buy a reg plate like this now, as there no longer legal, but you could get a graphics company to make you one up, as long as it has a reflective background. Just remember to say youve had the plate done like that before september '01 if you get pulled :lol:
