If i was going for a 2.0 conversion, id be more likely to go for the X20XEV. Like you say there cheaper and newer. Also because there newer, you can find one with low milage, rather than with the C20XE's, where anything under 70k, is as rare as rocking horse shit. OK you can have them reconditioned, but its not as good as having a genuinely low milage engine. | |

Every man and his dog uses the C20XE. I would like to use the X20XEV because as O2re says, they are cheaper to buy, and they are much newer than the old redtop engine. | |

What kind of stuff can you do to the engine to get about 150bhp, without using TBs and such like? |
