Originally posted by adiohead REVEALED! The 480bhp car, which features Nissan GT-R running gear mated to a Juke body, was shown off during a press event in Malaga, Spain. The Juke-R is fitted with the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine from Nissan’s flagship GT-R, and also uses a modified version of the coupe’s 4WD driveline, plus its six-speed transaxle. Two versions of the Nissan Juke-R are being created, one in each of left-hand and right-hand drive. The cars have been developed by Nissan and are being built by leading motorsports outfit RML with input from Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC-E). Testing of the car will begin in November. Although the Japanese manufacturer says this car itself is not destined for production, it adds that the Juke-R is a "one-off concept to test the public’s reaction to a seriously sporty Juke". If public reaction continues to be positive, it could prompt Nissan to put an extreme version of the Juke into production. [Edited on 25-10-2011 by adiohead]
