i'd pay to use the ramps if i was doing a job i wanted to make sure was done right, like re underseal the car etc. | |

theres a reason for doing home mechanics, it makes jobs vastly cheaper then taking it to a garage, when you start factoring in a cost towards home mechanics it becomes less attractive, especially when the costs are actually qiute high | |

yes but when you factor in you arent having to get your hands dirty and he'l probably get it done in less time then me, then it probably doesnt work out all that different | |

quite pricey, 20 quid for an hour with ramps, thats not far off what matey up the road charges per hour 35quid an hour | |
