quote: That's what he was asking? I can't remember if XP is the same (as the only XP machine I have is my home one and I'm at work at the moment), but on Win2k it says "To remove records of recently accessed documents, programs, and web sites, click Clear", and it does exactly that when I click on the Clear button...

I find that it always clears it when i clean up IE. Start with a Dsk Cleanup, then go to tools in IE, internet options, clear history, delete cookies, then click on the Content tab, then auto-complete, then clear forms. this should clear the stuff in Run drop-down box.
