When it went on the rollers to get it tuned, he said it had shit compression on 1&2 but set it up just to get by. Thought it was piston rings so left it till the weather went bad to do a rebuild.

On Saturday morning, under acceleration, it just lost all power. Replaced the coil pack as it seemed 2&3 had a shit spark. Didn't make any difference, so whipped the head off as it had all the symptoms of a gasket failure between cylinders.:mad:

no it isnt...the injector and the glow plug are separate items... on EVERY diesel ever invented.

Will a diesel engine look the same if head gasket gone also where can i get a diesel engine compression for sub £20 quid like petrol models?

Had shit compression in 1&2, then lost loads of power the other day.

Wipped the head off and it looks poorly in there. :(
