That's the thing Nik, he's bored silly of the effortless driving  Aw I know, I slapped a DC2 silly in the XSi. Slowed down at 70 when he was 2-3 car lengths behind  He wants something raw and rewarding, a VXR is neither.

Dunno what the DC5 is like compared to a DC2 but my mate is selling his DC2 to fund an XE Corsa/Nova after i spanked him in mine many a time.

If you bro likes low down power, then he wont like a Teg.

They are ace cars  Went to look at one today, and he told us he wanted £12,500 for his (42,000 on the clock, overspray on the radiator, scuffed light and he started reving the tits off of it from cold) and he'd give my bro £11,500 for his VXR:lol: Obviously his pricing guide is a bit off. We'll keep searching for a decent one!

Isnt It true that you have to Use Really Expensive Gearbox oil for them...Due to the Hight RPM changes?

gavin18787

and that the previous owner has kept on top of the oil as they like a little from time to time :)

Dc5s are pretty much fine from what ive worked with. As said the gearbox if its the same as ep3 one. Only point i can think of is the bolsters on the drivers seat wear quite badly.

My mate has a DC2 and its fucking Awesome at cornering.... But prober disapointing in V-tec...

Seeing as they have the same box as the EP3's just look out for crunchy second gears due to worn synchros.

Epic cars :D

Are there any problems you should look out for? My bro is bored of his Corsa VXR (shocking, I know, really) and is thinking about a Teggy as he wants something that's a bit raw compared to the Corsa :)
