[/quote] I must have missed the part where I said you could stamp on 'the loud pedal' post apex without any problems. What I said was making the car cope with the power isn't a huge issue if it's set up properly. There are suspension setups borrowed from FWD drag racing (which quite clearly work, or people wouldn't be running 7 second 1/4s in the states) which would stop the car being quite so undriveable, not to mention all the other things which you've neglected to mention. There's a company local to us who build very powerful FWD cars all day long who have a lot of little tricks to allow them to deal with the power, like suspension setups designed to stop the weight transfer and actually force the front of the car down under load. Of course if you just hammer it out of the first hairpin you see it's not going to work out too brilliantly for you, but that'd happen with a 150bhp car. If you control the 'loud pedal' properly, it's not an issue. Where do you think the limit for power in an FWD car is? [Edited on 07-08-2008 by Robin] [/quote]
