We moan that it goes up, and then we moan when it goes down.

We know we are heavily taxed but that is the governments fault, not the petrol stations. They're a business and their aim is to make profit.

But 5p isn't enough so lets keep moaning :rolleyes:

Yes because as a nation we are still heavily overtaxed.
The price of diesel more than petrol.

Good example of a loss leader situation, and psychological marketing almost.

On average I fill up about 30 litres. Saving 3p/litre, that is only 90p every fill up.

Granted, for those that drive a lot and fill up once or twice per week then they will start to see savings.

imho real savings won't be had until it drops below 100p/litre.
