There are different shades of the same colour in a lot of cases because you get paint mixed it different batches, you have to allow for fading and all sorts of other things. If there is only one shade of colour then you often have to tint it to get the colour to match, saying that, I don't think that there can be many shades of flat black :lol:

I got black corsa B my paint code is 20C i think, i was told by a bodyshop there are a few different shades of this colour :boggle:

I thought the paint code was the paint code & colour of the car end of?

Also are there names for the black shades? so i know what rattle cans to buy that will best match the colour of the car?
