Lots of them use a 32/34 DTML Weber as it bolts straight on.

I think the original one is a Stomberg.

Trying to find info on the 13N nova, find out what type of carb was used etc

Want to do something vauxhall related!

I guess your project is like one I did. Though mine was on the oil pump of a Zetec engine. Take one apart. List the parts and see if they are magnetic. Name them. Name suitable materials for them. Name suitable mehtods of manufacture. Photograph and document.

Try this -

http://www.thegsresources.com/files/vm_carb_rebuild.pdf

Haven't read it, but I would assume it would tell you the different metals used etc.

Buy "engine managment" by Dave Walker

He knows more about carbs than anyone else

Its an engineering project, just started it but basically I think it just involves loads of research. Its for an HNc in mechanical engineering. Have to carry out research, look at the best materials etc

For my engineering project im doing a carburettor

Been looking at weber twin 45 carbs

Does anyone have any good links for information on carbs? Post up anything you may have, the weber website is crap

Away to have a look at deleroto carbs.

Might be easier doing a standard carb? Was looking at doing a vauxhall engine of some sort, what engines came with carbs? SR novas?
