im going to rebuild head and check the bores and rings if they need doing might get new bottom end. do you think the rings would need replacing if it only done 83000 miles if so were would i be able to get some. | |

sounds expensive . the engine itself is sweet no noises only burning oil. basically just want to change valve stem seals but gona do clutch while engine is out. | |

new valves, valve stem oil seals, cam followers, valve guides, valve springs, cam seals, valve seats, inlet manifold gasket exhaust gasket, ultrasonic cleaning injectors.... | |

Only rebuilding top end will check the bottom end while its out. Any one no where i can get an egr blank plate from? | |

anyone got any ideas what to change or check while engine is out its a 1.6 sport and the engine is coming out for a rebuild. got the head gasket set ,head bolts, clutch and spark plugs so far. :look: |
