ok thanks for that will give them a ring asap, just wondering are the cylinders head from the c16xe and x16xe the same??

no.... do it yourself.

You know what you want, you know your engine. It isnt hard.

ARP rod bolts
SBD alu rollers

Both can be got from http://www.sbdev.co.uk phone them

so would somebody be kind enough to post a link for which parts i would have to buy such as arp head and rod bolts and sbd rollers please, as i had a look and was all parts numbers and i havent a clue

will be better in what way, when i went to a tuning shop and asked about the arp rod bolts for a x16xe he said they didnt have any only for the c20xe

Standards will be fine, arp's will be better.. If its revving to 7200 arp bolts and metal rollers would be a good idea..

yes i have a x16xe, was going the have the rev limit set to 7200, should the standard rod bolts and rollers be ok, can i not just get head bolts from vaux or are these arp bolts better?

er.... use www.google.co.uk and search for 'ARP head bolts'

I dont know what engine you have.

Car mapped WITH a UNICHIP doesnt need metal rollers or ARP rod bolts. They are a good idea for higher reving engines though.

Do a google search for ARP head bolts or studs

how much are they, dont plan to have it off alot i have bought a ported and polished head so replacing my std one

they are stretch bolts, so ya.... if they are std.

Re-fit ARP head studs if your planning to have the head on-off a lot
