The cars are not the problem. think about the boats which run on heavy fuel oil to deliver the nice, clean petrol we use, and think about all of the diesel trains, boilers in older buildings, america, things like that

I wont be driving an electric car, ever.

The government/greenpeace/busybody "environmentalists" need to realise where the real problem is....

its not the cars.

I wonder if everyday cars like boggo Corsas, Ford Mondeos etc. will become the sort of cars people will start restoring in however many years time when electric and hydrogen cars take over.

In the same way people restore the classic cars from the early 1900s :boggle:

doubtfull as mentioned we as a generation will see it happen, but im guessing the future will be full of leccy cars etc. They technology isnt good enough yet, but im sure given time it will be astonishing

i reckon we gonna see a lot of these cars within the next 5yrs, people will start buying em.

but surely it will take decades to get rid of petrol etc.

TBH i think we need to as a country realise we are only a very small country with a small populas.

If you ever go to cairo you will know what pollution is. ALL the cars run on leaded petrol and theres fucking millions of them. Fuck trying to tax people driving suvs, they are economic compared to what egypt alon will be doing to the atmosphere.

America also needs to fucking answer for half of it too. Industry isnt responsible enough, not enough is being done.

Aeroplanes pollute far more than cars.

I think we are right to be concerned and constantly try and improve the environment. But the goodie goodies should just have the 2nd glass of wine or take up stamp collecting and leave their nagging to a worthy cause.

Plus they are all for diesels which have realy harmfull carcenogens SP thats worse than petrol

Ill have no problem with leccy cars/ h2o powered cars etc etc so long as you are still able to choose a petrol alternative for the perfomrance enthusiast.

Hopefully it wont happen in my lifetime.

Future will be full of boring hydrogen and electric powered cars.

They will invade another middle eastern country and steal their oil.

how do you see the future, will performance cars become a rare thing that only very rich people can afford.

will everyone be driving slow cars?

is our generation or the next gonna be the last to experience all these perfomance type cars coming out at the moment, vxr's, focus ST's, etc etc

i know they'll always be a market for those kinda things, but will the manufacturers keep making them etc with the way the country/world is heading? or will they concentrate on low emission granny wagons?
