no there not, they are inteference engines, there will be some lovely bent valves...

not moaning just ihavent drove in a month, it is a smart car tho i get best of both worlds i i love my white 1 cuz of all the stuff and the 1.4 engine is sound it done me proud as it was my old car and my 1st

It snapped on an 8v then?

When they snap on the 8v's it hardly hardly ever effects the valves mate, duno why you're getting a new engine?

i am gutted my cambelt on my 1.2 corsa snapped a months ago havent drove in like a months bought my car for £200 its got alloys, side skirts, cat back exchaust colour coded got the hole car for £200 2months l8er cambelt snapped now getting my spare 1.4 8v engine in but its took the piss and its copsting £150 i am so gutted
