the newer ones are a bit of a pig as they have a little metal bar that clamps into the hubs.there a right bugger to get out.

Was it a big job? I'd love to lower mine but only if I can do it myself.

quote: Me and a fellow bodger attempted to fit the springs ourself, foobaring the bracket on the shock big time, causing it to slip lower in the hub. :o

Finally took the car to J100RSA's to have my Koni springs put on my Ibiza, and must say he did an awesome job, however we uncovered a fair bit of damage to the front drivers side shock, hence its a wee bit lower on my side  The back is still settling in, however the front dropped as soon as the jack was lowered. |
