cant see the performance of this corsa vxr being any good, just looks like it weighs so much more than it should.

If it ended up looking like this I would buy one if I had the money at the time

Vauxhall should stop p*ssy footing around and make a Corsa 2.0 turbo straight from the factory :D

Then theres the thing of only putting so much power in a small FWD car as otherwise it'll just spin in every gear if its heavily tuned

quote: No I mean the corsa D in general. You could buy the 1.2 /1.4 version etc... get a heap and do an engine conversion. 1.6 would be tunable but also you could also tune the vxr engine. [Edited on 27-01-2006 by _Allan_]

But that would be pointless IMO cos if they put the 1.6 Turbo in as I'm sure that would have plenty of tuneability and weigh less than the 2.0 turbo :)

Does anyone think the astra vxr engine would fit into the corsa D?, now that'd be a nice conversion :)

Just been reading about the Meriva VXR (which I think is a stupid car). It says that they are going to be using the same 1.6 Turbo engine in the forthcoming Corsa VXR :D |
