They are not even expensive....

But if your replacing the pump you may as well replace the cambelt.

yeah its off the road now until it hopefully gets replaced next week....just didnt want to pay Vauxhall prices for a new pump....

the gm water pumps are sadly the best ones to buy though. other ones are crapper made

do not drive that car

if the water pump fails or seizes it usually takes the cambelt with it

My friend at vauxhall did a cambelt, tensioner and water pump on my old Astra GTE 16v for £120

Found out my leaking coolant problem is 95% the water pump. Having it pressure tested next week to be sure. Anyone the best place to get a replacement if it is fooked? Not sure i wanna be robbed by Vauxhall for one.....
