Its pretty easy to weld up the holes Ive done it just cut a small 2p sized bit hold it in placed with gaffa tape and weld. Just remeber to take the tape away after the first couple of welds other wise you may have a fire in your car as i nearly did.

Does anyone know if that semi smooth boot is still going now? Hasnt cracked like.... looks a good job, and I prefer this semi smooth boot tbh, could always weld it though!

yeah goin to weld myself or my dad, or one of my dads employees. probably use a mig welder, pin metal over the lock area then weld then skim, shouldnt be too difficult

i wud like to know whether ppl think a semi is best done by a pro or i cud do it myself using said guide:

http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=104260

i'm a believer in having a go ureself and doing it but not if its just gonna crack and fook up about a month down the line, shud i pay a pro to do it or do it myself, btw i'd have it sprayed professionally....

any advice or thoughts welcome :D especially if u done ures or know someone who can do it....
