th ething is, it is designed for it, i mean, i'd rather have a straight one rather than a strut brace that looks like a letter L!

im going to reposition the header tank or even fit a nova header tank. can't decide which way would be best :s I have a nova engine after all, may aswell make it look like a nova engine bay

mines the same as the 1 above n still hits the eadertank lid. im thinkin of gettin a section cut outta the brace n then havin a bit welded in so it clears the bottle.

my strut brace is completely straight, it doesnt kink at all. its OMP though, pretty much the same as that one just ine doesnt have that little kink in it.

litterally bashing the bulkhead back :lmao: fair enough, think ill resort to that after everything else fails LOL

the bailey header tank... how much are they and where from please. i want everything to look mint so drilling more holes, bashing the bulkhead or any other bodge jobs I want to try my hardset to avoid :S

bash the bulkhead backwards with something heavy and hard.
unscrew the scutlle panel fixing behind it first.

Baily ones are different shaped to the GM ones, otherwise re-locate it a bit lower - you can drill some holes a few mm lower on the bracket on the tank so you can get to the lid, or just attatch it to something different.

something has got to go or be "edited".

I finally fitted strut brace only to find it means that the fookin' header tank lid won't unscrew off?!?! where's the common sense in the design of that how am i supposed to check my water without taking the engine bay to bits?...

could somebody point me in the direction of a diff3erent shaped header tank that fits? or is it a case of just having to put up with it??
