why is it, that the more i top up each month, the lower my call charges are. if i top up £10, its 40p a minute to call a landline. if i keep topping up till i top up a total of £40, THEN it goes to 10p to call a landline

i phoned up the number to change my priceplan, but the stupid bitch just told me what priceplan i was already on, and the said "press star to return to the main menu..................................."
