the nock sensor bolts to the back of the block and measures engine knock

After about 6 times of taking it back to vauxhall it was solved...they claimed they replaced the ICV everytime but I reckon they just cleaned the old one...and put it back in...

Its a common fault to be honest...

My sport used to do that though....would idle fine...then ll of a sudden cut out...theres not set symptoms...just shite idling...

if it was the ICV the revs would be going all over the place? it idels fine when on, its just when i blip it it wants to stall! its only at low revs! i will check all the pipes, but they all looked conected to me last night! whats the knock sensor then?

With my very limited mechanical info I would say check all hoses etc are in place... Also isnt the ECU box near the water pump? its prob not and im talking poop but just check all wires...etc

the only sensors close to the water pump is the idle control valve or knock sensor

is there many sensors round the water pump? as my mate was tightening up a slight water leek, and then when i drove it home, car was spluttering in low revs! then stalling! just didnt want to know! it was PERFECT before this!
