	Can take up to 6 months!! I tried but had to many driving convictions!!! Oooops! Took them 3 months to tell me this.

	I attempted. Was called in for a PIRT test, which I passed and was then invited to an assesment centre. Before the assesment centre they ran a security check, which for some reason I failed, I aint got a clue why, nor did they tell me and as such, I wasn't allowed any further. All I did was filled in a very long application form and it went from there. The whole process is quite long, I believe it goes PIRT test, security and medical checks, assesment centre, fitness test, final interview, then a few months residential training.

	hi mate im joining around xmas time for greater manchester first there the application form then u will be invited to sit the entrance tests then if successfull b invited for the assessment day which is the hardest part where u do the role plays and theres more exams if u pass this u have the fitness test then its the interview n if u pass that medical :thumbs: any more help feel free to ask

	what is involved in joining the police force? Im sick of my job and have always wanted to join the police force. I have now decided there is no point in being unhappy in my work. its at the point now where im not wanting to go in to work at all, so im hopefully going to do something about it. If anyone has attemtpted/joined please can you tell me how to go about doing it etc and whats involved. cheers
