ya wanna convert the head bolts to ARP studs, too this apparently helps get extra clamping pressure and changing the head gasket becomes less of a chore | |

You need to remove a small rivet from the gasket in order for it to fit. They don't work though. You will find that as soon as you turn the engine on your water will turn to mayonaise... The reason is probably because you need to use higher tourque on head bolts, but I wouldn't really want to start experimenting on the engine like that.... | |

yesterday i rang auto-vaux for some bits for the car, spoke to this proper sound bloke, really new his stuff. We were chatting about peter kay and chorley fm for a bit :lol: |
