Lol. I had to do Statistics, micro and macro economics and Constitutional & admin Law (Think thats its name) in my first year. Whats that got to do with surveying?! As my course got more advanced it gets more relevant tho. | |

The main disadvantage of D&B contracts is that variations are at a minimum! Any discrepencies need to be brought up before the contract commences :thumbs: | |

I would have said the Design & Build contract, as all of the buildings will be similar!! | |

im an architectural technician, architect comes up with an idea, he draws a sketch, then i draw it up, put it in for planning, then turn it into a working drawing so a builder can build it from the drawing and get building regulations for it | |

please dont take my word for it matey, i woudl hate it to be wrong, i think as a company we dot like to get too involved on site, but i just asked one of our architects and he said it could be a number of them depending on whos involved etc, but said most likely design and build | |

Design And build, at a guess, we do no end of supermarket work, we design co-ops and they are always done on this contract, dont quote me though cos from what i see we seem to do things different round here, | |
