I get this. I think it's one off the wee screws from my alloy tax disc holder stuck in the heater vent, acting as a ball bearing from whistle!
Well annoying.

sounds like coming form the windcreen heater vent, not sure though, after about 50mph get loud whistling, and if u open the window it gets alot louder, starting to get annoyed with it now, nothing to do with the polen filter or anything had all the heater controls all over and no diff, slider lift/right/middle... :(
