yer the stupid thing is he didn't care what alloys they were at all. Didn't even take note of size or make. Does that mean if they get stolen i could claim i had 18'' chromes!

Tesco's put my policy up by £210 for 3rd party wheels, Ive got another 8 1/2 months of policy still to go.

yeah i got asked that question an u should av said they are the vehicle manufacters spec alloys, an i don't think that'll put it up. Mine went up £100 for a whole years insurance when i put mine on. They didn't ask me how much they cost or what size they were or anythin, just whether they had lockin nuts on.

All 3 off my cars, i ahvent told them about my alloys, £1000 worth of ice and all that.

Now with HIC and all mods declared for free! :P

say thats what came with it, say that the came with the car (which alloys did) they could have been a option extra

i had same problem with NU m8, put some fox 15s on but they wanted an extra £100 for the 5 months left on my policy!

looks like you got off lightly!

there techinally still vaux alloys, and TUV approved, so should'nt put the insurance up,

Norwich Union want an extra £79 for the 8months left on policy becuase i've put 15'' tigra alloys on instead of my 14'' standard sports!
