no STFU. over oiled filters (after you have cleaned it) can fuck up your MAF
no, you are wrong, oiled filters fuck the MAF. The oil comes through with the air and slowly builds up on the MAF sensor, screwing it up.
no you are wrong. please EMA.
no i am wrong
yes. I knew you would agree
mature as ever vibs, you seriosuly need to grow up, you dont like being proved wrong do you.
you have not proved me wrong. if you over oil them then oil can get through and coat the MAF. however filters from the factory are not over oiled and do not leak like an over oiled filter. I fear your problem in reading has made you misread somthing about filters
I have no problem with reading, my comments are based on facts, from owning a VAG car, unlike you and what you may read. I agree over oiling will make it deteriorate faster but oiled filters will cause MAF failures, whether they are over oiled or not.
so your MAF failed from having a cotten oiled filter on it then. you must be seriously unlucky then. Bill brockbank with his 350hp ibiza uses a green filter and sells them. you'd think he would not do so if they fucked up MAF's [Edited on 08-03-2004 by vibrio]
