Ah ok, sorry got the wrong end of the stick. Good idea though, safety comes first. Get yourself a good comfortable helmet also. Give us a shout next time your going to the track and I might nip down too. | |

not getting into motorsport mate,just trackdays so want to lose a litlle weight, i thought cage after watching a fiesta roll @ knockhill last week , was pretty messed up ;) | |

A rollcage is there purely for safety. If your thinking of doing any form of motorsport, you MUST have an MSA approved rollcage. You get a huge range of rollcages, they just depend on how fat your wallet is. | |

Erm - somewhere round 1000kg's i think - thats what Daimos is i think he said (correct me if im wrong Daimo!) but he has the big "lump" in it | |

because you wont be gaining any weight coz you'll be stripping your seats out - its a safety thing aint it as opposed to see how quick you can make your car go thing. | |
