Take it to a bodyshop mate.Trust me!!!

To sand down the plastic you need to use VERY fine grade wet n dry otherwise the paint picks up the exess plastic you don't see.

I thought i had sanded my strips down the best they could ever be but my mate in the shop told me that the greade was to harsh even though it feels smooth it still aint as smooth as it needed to be to be sprayed :(

bought fillar \primer \plastic primer\ vauxhall glacier white paint
and some sand paper of various grit level.

next week
i shall be painting a bumper:wave:

i have never done this before."well" not succesfully"
so it should be fun
if all goes well
mirrors, arches, and doorhandles will be next

wish me luck
