id get it checked first before u got wasting money on that

i automatically thought it was my idle valve cos they are quite common!

til someone on here persuaded me to have the diagnostics test done first!
glad i did now though!

i got that problem and its the throttle position sensor and the gasket on the throttle body has gone!



gets done monday though!

worth havin it checked by vaux first!

only 25 quid plus vat
but if ya buy the idle valve they are about 70 quid and if it aint that then vaux cant refund it cos its electrical!

if ur revs are sticking high wen u brake etc id agree u need a new one fitted, had that problem a while bk!!! if not give it a gd thrasing down some duals or motorway 4 a gd 100miles or so soon cure it :thumbs:

Idle control valve for 1.4 8v corsa (must be working obviously!) :D
