^how is it anyway dude? think i sold you mine.

noticed at higher speeds/higher revs it really helped it (i used to do most my miles on the A1). Although didn't get full use as my zorts was leaking from centre box most the time lmao

10% ???

What a nugget!

Ive got a 1.4 16v thats 89bhp, so ur sayin i'll get 9bhp off a de-cat? hahaha!

I just put a de-cat on and it made it abit more responsive, thats it! - deffo not 9bhp increase!

Errr. Yeah. The 1.2 16V Ecotec is 65bhp standard. And decatting a car should allow you to gain between an extra 5 and 10% of power that is sapped up by the cat. The X12XE cat is actually one of the worst cats for sapping power due to its' positioning on the exhaust system. And because this decat is custom made from aircraft grade stainless steel just like the rest of my custom system i'd expect nearer to the 10% mark without any blowing occuring. :P

lol. This could be your lucky day mate!!!

I have got a 1.2 16V de-cat pipe you could have off of me. It was especially fabricated by Ascar Exhausts in Sheffield for me. Designed so that you can unbolt your vertically mounted cat under your exhaust manifold and then modify your existing pipework easily so that you can make it bolt-in, bolt-out for MOT purposes. It's stainless steel, a perfect fit, incorporates a quality flex and even comes with the lambda sensor already incorporated into the pipework. A plug and play mod. Makes the engine so much louder and gives it more grunt. Expect upto 5bhp easily.
Only selling due to me putting in an X16XE setup over the weekend. If you're interested, best to contact me by e-mail on kyle.testo@btinternet.com, as am not always on here. Cheers. Kyle.

what he said^

ur best bet is save £200 and get an x14xe

then you'll have more power... and it'll be legal! (if u insure it right)

You cant de-cat a 1.2 16v as the cat is built into the manifold, unless u start grinding the cat out & replace with a pipe...in which case it'll fail an MOT
