Just so you know i am a 'proper' mechanic.

Having worked for two vauxhall dealerships since 1998 thus becoming vauxhall qualified and now in training at a local BMW dealership.

Plus ive done 90 % of the work on my car and majority of my mates.

think thats enough qualifications.

of course you can put coilovers on a 1ltr

mines down 40 with 17s and dont catch at all , i choped my arches back tho for the sake of a few hours it saves a shit load of hassel

Mate of mines got them FK highsports coilovers on his 1 ltr.
He got them from Rimstyle he only paid £335

will a coilover kit fit a 1.oltr?

corsaevu

posted on 14th Dec 05 at 15:39

its just that the problem is that i have 15' fox alloy wheels that are hiting the tops of the arches over small bumps. So i need a sports suspension kit to tighten it up, i might lower it anyway.

What height drop would look good?, pics of my car in york gallery page 5.

Wrighty

yea standard but why...

corsaevu

posted on 14th Dec 05 at 08:14

Ben

Hey,

A mate of mine who is a mechanic says that i need some new shocks for my car as the new ones are screwed.

He did not really know where to get them from, but he would fit them for me.
Makes he suggested are:

Coney?
Spax?
Bilsteins?

Anyone got any new, or any suggestions for some makes?

They need to fit my 1999 3dr Corsa (B)

Cheers for any help,

Corsaevu.
