Yeah to be fair, at least 2, if not 3 previous meets had been arranged and there was a dismal turnout? These were before the Driffield meet took place - what was everyones excuse then?

Enthuasiam is great, but some degree of effort has to be made if early meets are to be successful. Once people see that it's worth there while travelling then it'll always pick up IMO :)

I know you dont have a corsa but you have the experiance ;) - And its a CorsaSport meet, IE for the members of corsasport, not just for corsa's if that makes sence :lol:

Yeah but the idea will be to change the location every month, and not just the same place :D

there was no need to scrap both meets, besides we had been havin out monthly meet there for couple months previous and also andy was good enough to come down from the lakes with his corsa so it had to be convenient for him

also as i have a vectra and are part of vvoc i invited them too and there was all in all a good turn out

Kerry - same to you....maybe we should have scrapped both the meets and had it somewhere centrally to both ours......

I think people came to mine, because it was near enough there first meet and most knew me already.....

Next time we do a a BIG meet, im sure if I come, and will be able to get at least 8 of them to follow :thumbs:

We will make this region one of the best, lets get the Febuary meet sorted and see what interest we can get.

yeh we had the same to ours if u lot had come then it would of been double ;)

claire has been very ill and even spent time in hospital thats why we didnt come to ures

13 Corsa's turned out and it was a good day, which has made me think that this region could have one of the biggest and best meets on CorsaSport as theres loads of us :D

my point was when we had our monthly meet u lot didnt bother

Kerry - the Driffield meet was for anyone that lived anywhere to come to..... But obviously they had to have a corsa as this is CorsaSport :P

And it was called the driffiield corsa meet only because it was in driffield and for corsa's :lol:

Instead of making i for Wet Yorkshire people - you should make it for the "Yorkshire Region" that way more people might come :thumbs:

Nah mate ponte aint dying off its still busy jus that they move us on so we use overflow carpark at xscape right on tops, was ok lastweek.

Most people are prob going to Blackpool this sunday night tho as its supposed to be HUGE :D
