beardy can do it for £1500 as can lee mitchell

this includes engine, fitting kit (hubs etc), and labour

obviously theres the brakes to upgrade but thats not going to cost more than £500 at the most

beardy says he can do a LET for £2500 so im going to look into that

god knows why any1 would want to spend 3500 on a N/A 2ltr in a corsa

here's mine
cav gsi- £550 (engine, exhaust manifold, ecu, box+front brakes) although i did make £250 from selling bits from the cav.

labour- diy so nowt

air filter- £30 for a cav 2.0 pipercross induction kit from the adtrader.

mount kit - £50 from lee mitchell.

suspension - £400ish koni's and eibach springs.

ecotech throttle body adapter - made one diy style and got the ecotech pipe from a m8. ( £95 from v-tuning, no need to cut the bulkhead :) )

driveshafts - £265 from justnovas ( they fit the corsa hubs so no messing about changing hubs.300bhp lifetime warranty)

exhaust - got a flexi to couple the valver manifold to the standard system for now £30.

£1045.

if you get a gsi then the rad, headertank + mpi fuel pump will be useable, i had to buy the tank £5 and fuelpump £30.

I think mine is coming to just under £2k

£650 Engine
£650 Conversion Kit, Power steering one
£500 Labour
£350 Coilovers - Second Hand
£150 Front Brakes

Thats £2300 before even thinking about styling accesories which I have purchased, and all the little niggly bits you have to buy, I say you are looking at £2500 minimal to do a really good job depends on the engine you get and then theres the problems on top of that with conversion kit dealers pvd are supposed to be right B@stards, I got mine from cossvux we had a bit of chew from them but the stuff was here in about 3 weeks I think, Regards Paul...

in general......

500 for coilovers (worth it every pennie)
400 for brakes (v6 front, braided hoses, rear disks too)
500 for a cav/astra - sell bits of it on, use rear beam off astra etc and brakes if u want to
500 for fitting kit (or a bit more for PAS etc)
300 on engine bits before u put it in, clutch, belts etc if u want it doing right, oil, piston rings?? gaskets etc
500 labour

so id say 3k tops to do it properly

i have everything and cage etc ready now, just need ££ and an engine!
