Last year we drove near enough straight through at 30 mph it was that quiet, we did it so quick we turned round and went again, it's not the same when it's like that tho, you can't get the banter going on cos you're constantly moving

might just be a little slower than normal, i drove through on 2nd day this year and from star gate to talbot road was pretty much standing traffic, took ages, did a quick lap of town re-joined prom and it was dead the rest of the way :/

it says there reducing down to 2 lanes instead of 4, so 1 in each direction, so wouldnt stop us doing a cruise down their will just slow everythin down doesnt close completely till next year after the illuminations

Cheers mate. I'm not sure if anything's started yet or if it was just an advanced warning but I don't wanna be turning up in Blackpool and everything's all to cock so if you hear anything further let us know, a bit of local knowledge may be a big help

I briefly heard something on the radio earlier on mentioning Blackpool prom having some works done and it's going to be down to one lane from sometime soon, up until Feb when it will be closed completely or something along those lines. I only really clicked part way through them reading it out but I'm just wondering if anyone knows more details and is it going to have an effect on the illuminations? |
