yeah has the whiteline, and yes just keeping it as a 1.4 will stay pretty standard as dont see many early sri's anymore, maybe build a separate c20xe car.

I've been watching that gumtree advert for around 8 months now, it was total Jackanory :lol:

Was a very good shell when i sold it last year, although think the boy done the engine in after he'd had it two weeks ( shame as the original one put 12 bhp up from standard at the corsasport rr day last year)

Really liked this car and glad its finally going to a good home :thumbs:

yeah i lived there for a while,
it has had new engine in this sri as the boy i bought it off said he blew it up an put a 68k astra lump in it, just not been looked after really, used and abused

Iirc its the same 1 that was owned by some1 over on Migweb, and i think he's on here. Scotty i think his username is. When he had it he did comment saying it was a strong motor in it and near immaculate. Must have got into the wrong hands.

Can mind of your old GSi from years ago when i done deliveries for the chinease in Buckhaven, used to see it going in/coming out of the flats next door.

had 19 corsa b's but only one black sri which was one of my favorites but sadly she was rotten and was gutted when i had to strip her :(

i'll see how it goes, its definately saveable so might just rebuild the engine and get it all running sweet and clean it all up, i do like it but just had 3 years of restoring a bmw e30, polo coupe gt and an e34 touring so motivation pretty low just now lol

found myself back in the seat of a corsa for the winter after having to sell my beemer to pay for ma 5 kids christmas :(

found a wee black 1.4 8v sri and took a punt. pretty standard, just lowered with janspeed exhaust with black cavi slabs.

body is cleanish bar 1 or 2 small dents but solid underneath, but already finding faults, clutch, possible gearbox, leaky injector, steering not right, management light on, possible head gasket etc etc

was supposed to be a winter runabout but finding myself thinking of a redtop conversion again, used to have a red gsi redtop bought from mav years ago and cant help dreaming of the fun i had.

but at the same time there not too many original sri's going an i always loved a black sri.

i do like a good project
