Cowboys

The further down south the worse the customer service gets I suppose.

I'm the only one at my branch that will tackle the above jobs, we are all told not to fit aftermarket parts, so no doubt the job that was done on your mates clio was a casher as there is no chargeable thing on the computer systems for that type of work,

Bad expierience I suppose, as long as my customers are happy :)

Goes by the branch I suppose but I;ve worked for both

I found working for Kwik-fit in Inverness deadly to me and the customer, and they are downright thiefs,

Whereas McConechys are more of a local type buisness where I am, we are not hit hard with figures as kwik-fit are

OT, but the only reason I dislike them is because a mate took his Ph2 Clio down to a local McConnechy's to get a universal backbox fitted. Long story short, they fitted the back box with a dent in the tailpipe, obviously showing that it had been dropped. After having a closer look the 'bracket' holding it on was shoddily welded to say the least and it was so loose it could move about 3 inches in either direction around the exhaust. Then when my mate said to the manager he came out and proceeded to use the ball pein of a hammer to take the dent out, which my mate thought was fine :|. I'd have kicked up fuck wanting a new one put on tbh.

It all ended up with his full exhaust dropping a week later because the backbox had pulled it down due to the shitey 'bracket' failing. The pipe split at the manifold and my diddy of a mate paid them £220 to fix it. Pure cowboys.

I know not everywhere's the same with these places but it's certainly put me off ever using them for anything other than their toilet facilities.

Any place will do that if it needs done

Also sanding down the rim and sealing it properly if it needs done
