well,me being a 'JAMBO' . i would have liked to see craig levein take charge:D didn't think it would be long, until he was snapped up by a club down england.

the plus+ that he has,is he's used to working with young players/was.....
Maybe, doesn't have alot of experience, but look at the SCOTLAND squad:lol:

MAYBE sounds a bit daft:P but for scottish footballs' sake.
i wouldn't mind, seeing: Riordan, and although he maybe on his way out(age-wise) he does have the height and build which we are currently lacking up-front,is Craig Brewster.we just can't do anything, unless we have a fully fit squad, like what - Sxi04 - posted.

any players you'd like to see in the 1st team?
and / manager?

Was utter pish!
And the media can GTF as well, this mornings Radio 1 news "..and Scotlands new era failed to materialise with new caretaker manager Tommy Burns last night..." FFS, just cause Bertie has finally gone Foxtrot Oscar doesn't mean we suddenly have a world class international squad. This is unlikely to happen any time in the near future anyway.

As was discussed in the pub last night, we should resign from international football until we have a team worthy of wearing a Scotland shirt.
(In the sober light of the day though, this does seem slightly stupid!!)

Did he do well with rangers because he could spend money or cause he was a good coach? Personally i think a bit of both but he wont have the luxury of goin out and signing a player when someones injured or he feels somewhere needs strengthened.

We're not as bad as recent results suggest no matter what people think, we did beat a very good holland side in a competitive match not too long ago, which may or may not have been freak result but it proves a fully fit squad is capable of at least competing with good teams.

Think Walter Smith is the best candidate at the moment..But yeah ho done well for Rangers but never done much with everton...

But probably the best we have at moment....

Tonights result was expected..Again plenty of call offs...Alot of young players in there..No consistency in team sheet etc..What do you expect.....

I really think WE are total pish and not alot will change in next 10 years.

Even though there is alot of scottish talent out there..Maybe walter can get the team playing/settled and flowing better....:o:boggle:

I say Walter Smith as manager. When he was with Rangers he was class. Not so sure about what he is like now but i used to like him when he was with Rangers.

I think the new manager is going to be Walter Smith the way the medias talking. Ive no complaints with him or Gordon Strachan, the thing that has to change just now in Scotland is expectation - yeah we're shite, we know it, but lets start again and get the country behind the team start looking forward rather than at the reasons why we're so bad.
