I was surprised with the engine after 98000 miles it is very sound, was expecting noisy top end but went silent after 30 seconds of running.

Already replaced the corsa with a Mk4 Golf Gti turbo, bloody slow! Give it 6 months might be a bit different.

Craigpcg, if only I knew that 6 weeks ago I would of sold it with the turbo, had uprated hybrid turbo from turbo dynamics, kicking out 275 bhp at 16psi. Quickest thing I'm ever going to drive probably.

atc what is the engine like? is the tappets alright and as it had any thing done to it? also who did the conversion and like craig said is it a 2ltr valver or a turbo? I presume from what you said above its a non-turbo N/A engine.

Darren

p.s no probs with the pics fella glad i can help out.

By the way I wouldn't mind another corsa Ive just got rid of a minter standard carabic blue gsi with 40k miles on but the lad as wote it off.

Someone please buy it, take them front lower splitters of the quality bumper, remove the strips, and u got urself a damn good buy there. Would look quality :D :D

Craig, i think it may ahve been a 2.0 turbo, but they've taken it out and put a 2.0 in. Turbos are worth a lot more than than the NA engine.

It is now a C20XE, it was a C20LET but I wanted to keep the engine and 6-speed box.

craigpcg
