I also have four sets of dials and they all work with different trancducers. only tranceducer which caused a problem for me was the one off a turbo diesel. they are easy to get off most modern vx's.

I've used different tranducers with different dashes with no problems.

Im currently using a nova 1.2i ecu vehicle speed sensor for my digital dash.

Before that I used a standard corsa sport one.

NEVER buy a digital dash without the original transducer, its a bit late in your case though. Even if you buy a transducer on its own theres no guarentee its gonna work as there are several different types.
If your Corsa had electronic clocks you might have been able to use the sender from that, thats what I've done. I'm stuck for ideas at the moment but will have a think about it.

That's what vauxhall said but i bought the dash with out the original transducer. I don't know the part number of the dials because it has been cut off when the dials were modified. They are going into a Corsa thats got a mechanical speedo cable, the one they came out of had electronic speedo so that was no help to me. I'm a bit stuck on what to do next, any ideas???

Your gonna need to know how many pulses you want, you can't just put the sender from any GTE dash onto another one.
Out of interest, are you fitting it to a Corsa, if so, do you currently have a cable or electronic fed speedo?
