I wouldn't bother, it'll run that slow you'll have wished you never bothered wasting your time in the first place.

Apple never updated past iOS 5.1.1 so a lot of newer apps don't work.

Is there a way round this? Jailbreaking? Somehow getting the iPad to think it's got newer iOS?
