And that's a shame for him, but tough:D It's been 'The Ukraine' for as long as i've known and i'm not about to stop calling it that. I don't think i've ever heard anyone refer to it without the 'The'. It just sounds wrong. A bit like referring to the UK as UK, without a 'The' in front of it.
