Depending on what your looking for we've been surprised to see that for many things like bottles, plates etc John Lewis are sometimes the cheapest, with free delivery to the local waitrose we often use that (and staff discount then makes it an even better winner :)

quote: Not any more. A couple weeks ago Morrisons sold off the Kiddicare company as it was not making any money - Purchased for £70m sold for £2m a nice £68m loss!. The new company know its a sound business as a mostly online company so is closing off all the stores bar one (which I am guessing is hear the main depot)

Boots could be a good idea, gives them a bit more options of clothes, nappys, milk or even put towards a pram or cot

Kiddicare is owned by morrisons and so the vouchers should be ok to be used in there stores too as they stock a lot of their stuff.

Pretty much all baby companies are a rip off  It depends how old the baby actually is? As said above, a big box of nappies could be a better gift than clothes that the baby might never wear.

Contrary to Matt's view we find Kiddicare to be excellent value compared to Mothercare.

Kiddicare is a rip off imo. If the baby is 18months or less then mothercare vouchers will be perfect they go along way. 18month n above they more into toys or thing they like at that particular time in which case ask the parents

I don't have kids and don't intend to but I use 'mamas and papas' for gifts for people who do have kids.
