sloworm - I'll dig out the details and u2u you in the next few days

gazza808 - We normally do relaxing holidays with the odd city break which normally involves seeing as much as possible and walking miles!

Rob C - We stayed in Tanjung Aru which is near Kota Kinabalu on the Malaysian side of the island. Where abouts in Borneo did you stay? How long did you go to Tokyo for?

Nath / whitter45 - Cheers

I work in Singapore alot and love it,
Did the gp the other year as well!

The right to drive the car is basically our road tax,
You can have a car over ten years old, I'm just sure the tax either doubles or goes up 50percent it's crazy!

Borneo looks amazing! I want to try one of these relaxing holidays one day.

Can I be rude pal and ask how much the whole package cost? Trying to price up our honey moon for a similar time next year and for a similar trip (3 day city break and 10 relaxation). Looks like you had an ace time :)

We've never been across to Asia before so chose to head East for our honeymoon. We flew out to Singapore (12 hours) and went straight through the airport for a connecting flight to Borneo (2 hours).

We were in Borneo for 11 nights with the main aim to be relaxing at the hotel, which was great...

The food was very fresh at the local fish restaurant...

We went into the jungle one day to an orang utan sanctuary...

Suitably rested we then flew back to Singapore for 3 nights...

Universal Studios on Sentosa Island had loads of great rides...

You can't go to Singapore without getting a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar at Raffles...

Some interesting buildings and sculptures...

When we were in the taxi from the airport the driver was telling us how expensive cars were to buy, we thought he was maybe exaggerating. Turns out he wasn't!!! You have to purchase the right to buy a car, this costs $83,000 (£52,886). Having shelled out for this you then have to buy a car. The pic below shows that you can buy a Megane for $148,999 (£94,903) unless you get in for the early bird price at £71,973  Bargain! Oh and you can't keep a car for more than 10 years.

However, the main reason for going to Singapore was for the F1 Grand Prix, which also included concerts by The Killers and Rihanna...

Webber sat on Alonso's Ferrari...

We had a fantastic time and I would thoroughly recommend both countries as they were very different.
