We peaked at about 4500 feet but there are different winds at different altitudes so we stayed fairly low to track the path we did. Didn't go entirely to plan, hence landing on the hill.

Kerry - this landing was absolutely smooth, couldn't even tell we had stopped.

I did a hot air balloon experience with virgin and it was the same principle where you all help to get it up and stuff!

feels really weird up there like ian said its quite peaceful i think its because you move with the wind so dont feel the wind if that makes sense

landings are a bit bumpy though

would love to do it again :)

tbf, it's a very original idea imo. One of the last things i would've thought of. Fair play and i bet it was a great day out

If you don't mid me asking what were the booking prices like (contradicting everything i just said  )

:! Looks cool Ian, but i'd be cacking myself in one of those don't think i could ever do it. Somehow, i think my mum would be the same... Not one for adventure

Bought this for my mum for her birthday. Flew from Burton-in-Lonsdale near Lancaster. We were up for about 2 hours and cover 10 miles.

Got to the launch site and because its a big job the passengers all help out. Fire tests were loud :D

Cold air at first

Nearly there

On the way up. The amount of detail is fantastic as you're close enough to see everything but moving slow enough to take it all in. Like a commercial airliner coming in to land but the whole flight is that interesting.

Unimog scrappy

Also spotted this BMX park hidden in some woods

Old castle

And the landing place.

We had to pack it away and walk from there, but the wind was dropping and we needed to ditch rather than stop in mid-air over somewhere unsuitable to land on.

Great day, would thoroughly recommend it.
