I did a hot air balloon experience with virgin and it was the same principle where you all help to get it up and stuff!

Supposed to be £260 per person but I found it through a 50% off special offer in one of the Sunday magazines so we got the two tickets for that price. Its a little expensive for a day out but she was 60 so I needed to do something

It felt just as safe as a plane, moreso in fact when you consider that there is a lot less to go wrong and the whole experience is more peaceful.

Bought this for my mum for her birthday. Flew from Burton-in-Lonsdale near Lancaster. We were up for about 2 hours and cover 10 miles. |
