Kerry is your laptop and pc on a shared account as I'm getting a laptop soon and want to use it with my wireless access point that shares the same modem as my wired pc.

Anyone know how I'd go about setting this up or do I just have to plug in the wireless access point then get the laptop to respond to it and the internet will sort itself out?

You might as well just get the new phone point put in upstairs. Can't really see the point in having a wireless network if it's just for your PC. Might be different if you had a laptop as well that you wanted to use all over the house
