Some cities offer wireless broadband via radio signals, a bit like Wireless LANs but on a bigger scale. Speeds are the same as standard broadband, but obviousl, wireless.

Like I said mate - you CAN get satellite broadband. And wireless internet is often in communal places like pubs, churches etc. Usually provided by BT Openzone I think its called. Dead expensive tho.

not entirely wireless tho cause you still need plugs from PC to wall through to sky dish

could always email your ISP and ask what the average latency is? or if the ISP's website has a forum, ask people who already use the service there whats it like :)

if you mean your actual internet connection is wireless, as in radio then I'm not so sure cause there might be a little bit of lag?

if you are talking about home wireless for your private network and gaming over that then I believe its fine.
